The term calling card and phone card can be used interchangeably. However, there is a difference. A calling card is typically a card that can be used on any phone by calling the access number on the back of the calling card and entering in a pin. Phone Cards are usually related to one specific brand. Example: Certain providers sell pre-paid phone cards which are only good for their specific phones.
