- Go to your Contacts directory and select your destination long distance number for editing.
- Enter your local calling area Access Number in front of your destination long distance number.
- After entering the Access Number, depress the push wheel and select "insert soft pause". Repeat so that two soft pauses are inserted.
- As an example, in the USA local calling area, your contact should look like this: 858357xxxxpp1xxxxxxx for Canadian and USA long distance contacts, or like this: 858357xxxxpp011xxxxxxx for overseas long distance contacts. You can also save it as (Local Access #, Speed dial #) 858357xxxxpp*01
